INSECURITY: OSYC Berates Makinde over insensitiveness - OLADIMEJI Ibrahim

Martin Luther King Jr said and i qoute "Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter." It is on this note i find it imperative, necessary and germane to write an open letter to the Governor of Oyo State, H.E Engr. Seyi Makinde over the security challenges confronting the State which had claimed innocent souls ever since the inception of this administration. I never wanted to speck a line on this issue considering its responsiveness but i regarded as the maximum how posterity would have proclaimed my silence or docility. At least, the service to humanity is the best work of life. Even if I had challenged every shape of the previous administration, I questioned not his primary responsibility which is the protection of lives and property. It was crystal clear that Ajimobi-led Administration scorecard on this was without blemish. We knew how Former Governor Abiola Ajimobi managed the Security Challenges of the State when he came on board with the intro...

“AT THIS RATE , WILL THERE BE APC IN 2023?” - Babafemi Ojudu

Image
A friend of mine on Facebook raised the above poser this morning. Yes many people are raising same and they are right to do so following the recent happenings in our party. Let me answer this question by saying YES, there will be APC come 2023.  While it is true that this is the agenda of some elements within the party they  have done well , so well , that they have given the patriots in the party enough notice. They even let out their thoughts when the said loudly that “APC Will Not Exist After Buhari” Some of us are monitoring their moves. What they think is their secret agenda is an open book to many of us.  Their nocturnal meetings, every disruptive steps they are taking are known to us and we shall not leave any turn unstoned.  These  are the elements whose concern always is the next appointment, the next election. There is no where in between this to think about the people and their plight.  They are those  who pride themselves as ‘the first son’...

The local content bill sponsored by the Distinguished Senator representing Oyo central senatorial district, Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin, which has scale through the second reading at the floor of the senate. This local content bill which is aimed at transforming Nigeria industrially and drive the economic activity of the country. Over the year Nigeria as a country, has been wallowing in the space of depending on another country to survive, which has indignitify the country and shows the high level of how our local product is not being value. It speak ill of a country like ours, Nigeria relying on another country to survive despite how, we are blessed with resources that can place us on the world map as the most productive country. We hold that government has not been able to mitigate the stoppage of patronising the foreign goods over local goods which could have help our economy to have been Jumpstarted and jobs created, if they have encourage and support the patronage of local goo...

Insecurity: This Isn’t The Time For Makinde To Play Ayo Olopon By Ayo Raji Over the past few weeks, Oyo State has become a hunting ground for serial murderers and sexual predators who appear to be taking a sordid advantage of the unusual security lapses in the State to execute their heinous motives. Six Things You Should Know About Money - Bayo Adeyinka 1. God does not give money Deut 8:18 God doesn't give wealth or money- He gives the power, ideas, concepts and know-how to get it. That's why you need to quit praying for money. Money does not answer to prayers. 2. Money is neither good nor evil. 1 Tim 6:10 Money is neither good nor evil. It's the use to which you put it that matters. It's just like fire or water. Fire can burn but it can also cook. Water can wash or clean but it can also drown. Money is a good servant but a bad master. 3. Money is a reward for exchange or transfer of value. You must give value for you to get money. Pro 14:23 You give your time on a job, you earn salary at the end of the month. You apply your skills to solve a problem, you get your reward in monetary terms. 4. How you get your wealth is important Pro 13:11 Wealth that is not the result of hardwork and integrity will not be permanent. Nothing fraudulent lasts...

Seyi Makinde and The Innuendo of Security Vote - Dahood

Image
INSECURITY: Governor Makinde and The Innuendo of Security Vote I love humanity more than politics. But can I ever discuss humanity without politics? The answer is NO! The topics seem alchemical, hermetic and inseparable. No matter how I try, the topicalities blend and intertwine. Over time people queue on the paths of fallacies. They jump into conclusions and mock through reactions. But do I care when I need to discuss the discourse that champions humanitarian cause? I never wanted to dot a line on this issue considering its sensitivity but I considered as the utmost how posterity would have adjudged my silence or apparent passivism. At least, the service to humanity is the best work of life. Even if I had challenged every shape of the previous administration, I questioned not his primary responsibility which is the protection of lives and property. It was crystal clear that Ajimobi-led Administration scorecard on this was without blemish. If nothing is appreciated, the cre...
